Assignment 2: Preparation

I used a lightbox on two of the above pictures as an aid to planning the composition. I plan to draw the image with the standard lamp and bookcase as the finished piece on wall lining paper with conte sticks, wax crayons and pastels. I may try some wax resist with some white wax crayon overlaid with ink brushed on perhaps with Chinese paint brushes.
